We're no longer mailing print books or other library materials to users due to COVID-19. 

After April 8, library staff will no longer be on site to scan documents. Staff can still help you try to find electronic access to the content you need.

Document delivery

We offer electronic delivery of articles & book chapters from the library's collection. This is free for UA students, faculty, staff, and designated campus colleagues (including affiliates, affiliate partners, associates, and associate partners).

Go to your account to submit and view requests.

What items can I request?

Item: Typically available in:
Articles 2-3 business days
Book chapters 2-3 business days
Books Unavailable due to COVID-19, but email us to discuss your needs and how we can help.

Due to COVID-19, physical books, physical media (videos, DVDs, etc.), and Special Collection items can't be provided. UA instructors can request streaming video for course use.

Who can use this service?

This is a free service for all UA affiliates.

How do I access the requested item?

Digital articles and book chapters are sent to your email with a link to a PDF document.

How long can items be used?

Digital articles and book chapters are available online through your account for 30 days.

Can I renew an item?

Due to COVID-19, we're extending loan periods and waiving late fees until further notice. View your checked out items.

How do I return items?

Please wait to hear from us before returning your borrowed items. The library is suspending late fees until further notice.

Can you ship materials to me?

We're no longer mailing print books or other library materials to users due to COVID-19.
