#WeAreUAZLibraries is a bi-weekly series that introduces our staff on Facebook and Instagram. Meet Lara Miller!

What do you do?

Analytics & Assessment for the Libraries—I help tell the story of the impact of the library on students & scholars at UA with data.

How long have you worked for University Libraries?

Going on my 10th month at UAL.

What’s your favorite library resource or service and why?

The iSpace—remember that cool idea you had but couldn’t make happen because you didn’t own a laser cutter or 3D printer? At the iSpace you can make all your tech dreams come true. The in-person support is top notch.

What would people be surprised to know about you?

I once set a record for sport speed stacking, a competition where you stack specially designed cups into sequences as fast as you can. I was obsessed!

Lara's story was originally posted on social media on February 5, 2019. The iSpace will transition into the CATalyst Studios in January 2020.
