The Albert B. Weaver Science-Engineering Library is open to UA students, faculty, and staff Sunday-Friday 9am-9pm, and Saturday 9am-5pm. We've converted all individual long-term study rooms to 30-day rooms for the academic year to provide adequate spaces for graduate students and faculty. Due to COVID-19, we're requiring face coverings to be worn at all times. Eating and drinking are not allowed in the building, with the exception of drinking from water bottles.

Faculty/graduate study rooms

These rooms are assigned for 30 days to individual UA research faculty (including emeritus and visiting faculty), graduate students studying for comprehensive exams, and PhD candidates working on dissertations.

Former assigned rooms at Weaver Library

All assigned long-term study rooms at Weaver Library for Spring 2020 expired June 30. You can pick up remaining items from your previously assigned room during Main Library lobby hours.

How to access

Once assigned, you can use your room anytime the library is open. Check current library hours.
