Anthony Sanchez is a librarian and liaison to the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arizona. He is a liaison for the School of Geography and Development, the Arizona State Museum, and the departments of, Linguistics, American Indian Studies, Mexican American Studies, Latin American Studies, and the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies.
He works with faculty and students supporting in-depth research, managing information resources, and implementing learning technology in the classroom. He is also a member of the leadership group and co-founder for the CATalyst Studios (née iSpace), a multidisciplinary makerspace sponsored by the library.
His research interests include virtual and augmented reality applications in education, peer learning models, ethical archiving, and inclusive technology for underrepresented groups.
