UX@UA Meetup

Virtual reality and second language learning

At this meetup, we’ll talk about virtual reality and immersive second language learning experiences!

Joan Palmiter Bajorek, PhD candidate in Second Language Acquisition and Teaching (SLAT), will present on her UX study of an immersive, VR-style second language program. How does virtual reality-based software affect language learners and language learning? How can UX data help to inform holistic understandings of educational technology now and in the future? Let's discuss!

Come for the knowledge, stay for the drinks and conversation. Feel free to come late or leave early – we’re real casual. Newbies and people of all skills and levels are welcome!
