We will automatically renew your print materials every 21 days as long as someone has not requested a hold and your library account is in good standing. The number of automatic renewals and your maximum loan time depends on your affiliation. The maximum loan period for NAU, ASU and Pima faculty and UA faculty spouses is 6 years. The maximum loan period for NAU, Pima and ASU students and community users (level 1) is nine months. All other users have a maximum loan period of three years. Non-UA affiliates do not have technology borrowing privileges.
Library card holders receive unlimited computer access during public hours at the Main, Science-Engineering, and Fine Arts Libraries (with the exception of Community User - Level 1). We also offer free computer cards for visitors wishing to use our public computer area in the Main Library.
Contact us right away if you lose your library card to prevent others from using your account. You can get a replacement card for $10 at any of our Ask Us desks.
