Anthony Sanchez is a librarian for the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arizona. He is currently liaison to the School of Geography and Development, the Arizona State Museum, and the departments of, Linguistics, American Indian Studies, Mexican American Studies, Latin American Studies, and the Arizona Center for Judaic Studies. He works closely with faculty and students supporting in-depth research, managing information resources, and implementing learning technology. He is also a member of the leadership group for the iSpace, a multidisciplinary makerspace sponsored by the library. His research interests include virtual and augmented reality applications in education, peer learning models, and inclusive technology for underrepresented groups.
