You can find UA materials in the library catalog by searching "University of Arizona" as either the author or subject. Some materials are available online, while most print materials can only be viewed in Special Collections.

Budget and salaries

Copies of the current UA State Operating Budget can be viewed at the Main Library, Health Sciences Library and Special Collections. Past UA budgets can be found in Special Collections

The Arizona Daily Wildcat publishes a database of UA salaries. The data includes names, titles, departments, colleges, FTE, and percentage of state funding, with coverage including the 2016-2017 fiscal year and information dating back to 2011.

Academic catalogs

Academic catalogs include course descriptions, academic degree programs and requirements, fees, lists of faculty, and more.

Print copies of UA catalogs from 1891-2000 are available in Special Collections. The UA discontinued print editions of the catalog after 2000-2001.


The UA phonebook directory includes current students, faculty, and staff.

Print editions of the University of Arizona Student, Faculty, Staff Directory dating back to the 1920s are available in Special Collections.

Student newspaper

Current issues of the The Daily Wildcat can be accessed online. You can also access full text of past issues through the library.

Bound print volumes dating back to 1911 are available in Special Collections. Earlier editions can also be found on microfilm.

Previous titles include: Arizona Weekly Life (1911-12), University Life (1912-13), Arizona Life (1913-14 to 1914-15), and Arizona Wildcat (1915-16 to April 15, 1965).


Print copies of the UA yearbook, The Desert (1911-2005) are available in Special Collections. Circulating copies of many years are available in the Main Library.
