Travels In Medicine, Exploring The Global Health Community

The Global Health Forum at the University of Arizona College of Medicine presents Travels in Medicine, Exploring the Global Health Community, an exhibit held in conjunction with the Department of Family and Community Medicine and the Health Sciences Library. Jennifer Akazawa, a second year student in the College of Medicine, served as the coordinator for this event.

The Global Health Forum is a UA College of Medicine student club, promoting awareness of health and medicine transcending borders, cultures, and languages.

Photographs on display were submitted by students, faculty, and staff members at UA Health Sciences. These photographs depict the participants’ views on global medicine, and range from clinical experiences to more general aspects and influences of health on an international scale. Through this exhibit, the Global Health Forum hopes to provide a glimpse into the lives of the community members who are most impacted by global health initiatives. We hope you enjoy our travels through medicine.
