Author Talk with David Yetman

Join us at the Tucson Botanical Gardens for this outdoor event

The University of Arizona Libraries is proud to welcome the University of Arizona Press author David Yetman for a special author talk and signing of his newest book with the Press, Natural Landmarks of Arizona.

Yetman's book sheds light on the vast geological past of Arizona's natural monuments through the eyes of a celebrated storyteller. These peaks and ranges offer striking intrusions into the Arizona horizon, giving our southwestern state some of the most memorable views, hikes, climbs, and bike rides anywhere in the world.

Yetman, a research social scientist at the University of Arizona Southwest Center in the College of Social & Behavioral Sciences, is an Emmy-award winning documentary television host well known for his PBS travel/adventure series, “In the Americas with David Yetman.”

Books will be available for purchase at the event. Registered attendees are welcome to visit the Gardens starting at 3 pm.

This is an in-person outdoor event, and attendance will be capped at 100.

Registration is required for all guests. Onsite registration will not be available.
